Ah, my prodding (that violin concertos are boring) elicited some response!
:-)

OK, in real life I really don't like violin concertos, but that's just
my personal taste.  I can understand that many people do like them.

I was also hoping that some comments would be made about Lalo's piano
concerto to which I referred in the same message.  Has anybody studied
this work, or perhaps even played it?
