Chamber Players International April 5 Musical Cuisine Concert in Old
Westbury Celebrates Music of Chopin and Richard Strauss

Chamber Players International's Musical Cuisine series will present the
fourth brunch and concert of its 2008-2009 season, celebrating the music
of Chopin and Richard Strauss on Sunday, April 5 at 12 noon at the
DeSeversky Conference Center on the campus of New York Institute of
Technology, Northern Boulevard in Old Westbury, New York.

This program will feature Chopin's Concerto for Piano No. 2 in F minor
with string ensemble (arranged by David Winkler) and Richard Strauss'
rarely performed Sonata for Violin and Piano. Soloist in the Chopin will
be pianist Tatiana Goncharova, with members of the Long Island Mozart
Festival Chamber Orchestra. She will be joined in the Strauss by violinist
Anna Rabinova.

The program begins with a champagne brunch buffet at 12 noon followed
by the concert at 1:30 PM. Admission is $60 per person with group rates
available. For reservations (required) and information, contact Chamber
Players International toll-free at 1 (877) 444-4488.

Musical Cuisine is long-established as a popular Long Island classical
chamber music series. It has the unusual distinction of presenting
world-class artists performing chamber music in an intimate and relaxed
environment after a champagne brunch.

Russian-born pianist Tatiana Goncharova has performed throughout
the United States, South America, Europe and Asia. Praised by the
Philadelphia Inquirer for her exceptional musicianship, Ms. Goncharova
has appeared with various programs and ensembles at such noted venues
as Avery Fisher Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Kravis
Center, Ravinia, Caramoor and Philadelphia's Kimmel Center. Visit her
online at http://www.isabellapuccini.com/artist_tatiana_goncharova.html.

Anna Rabinova, a member of the New York Philharmonic, was the winner of
the Bach International Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and was awarded
first prize at the 16th International Competition in Belgrade. As winner
of the 1993 Concerto Competition at The Juilliard School, she performed
Shostakovich's Concerto No. 1, with Stanislav Skrowaczewski conducting.

Chamber Players International is a major regional presenting and
performing arts organization, presenting between 25 and 30 concert
events serving the entire New York metropolitan area. Its artistic
mission is to bring chamber music and chamber orchestra performances of
the highest artistic quality to audiences throughout the area with such
world-renowned ensembles as the International Chamber Orchestra of Rome
and New York core-ensemble members as violinist Anna Rabinova, violist
