Yes.  BBC Radio 3 actually filled a night's broadcasting a couple of years
back with a live performance.  I heard the beginning (it's quite a nice
little piece the first 20 or so times round) then switched off and switched
on again a few hours later when the baby woke me up, to find the piece
still happily in progress.
