One more Ives question (for now, at least):  I've heard a broadcast and
recording of the Ives 3rd Symphony with Micheal Tilson Thomas conducting
where the orchestra plays "shadow parts" that move beyond the work's mostly
tonal harmonic vocabulary.  Was MTT the first to discover these and put
them in the score, or did another editor do it?
