But seriously folks, I just heard the Naxos performance of K622 (coupled
with Basson and Oboe Concs) and although I heard it on pretty poor
equipment, I was convinced there was something strange about the string
sound.  It was very grainy, almost like period instruments.  It also
sounded just a touch flat.  Are they period instruments/slightly flat
modern instruments played badly/what?
