Violin Concerto - a very romantic, lyrical work
Cello concerto - Less romantic, more muscular, more dissonant, an
   excellent work.  Yo Yo Ma has recorded it in a good pairing -
   Britten's Cello Symphony
Piano Sonata - a long eloquent sonata, as I remember it.
