(National University of Ireland, Cork)

Applications are invited for the above whole-time, permanent post,
tenable from 1 September 2005, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The ideal candidate will be an active musicologist qualified to doctoral
level, whose research specialisms and teaching interests fall within the
sphere of European music of the period 1500-1800. The postholder will
be responsible for teaching, supervising and examining students at both

may an interest in teaching music theory and music-notation skills.
