I have acquired a CD, called "A Musical Offering" by J.S.Bach (performed
by members of the Florilegium) which claims to be a complete set of
instrumental trio sonatas. I am not a performing musician, only an avid
listener of classical music. The term "Musical Offering" has created for
me quite a lot of confusion. I would appreciate if a member of the list
would explain to me if there are more than one "Musical Offering" by
J.S.Bach, and how they are catalogued?
