It seems that he was performed fairly frequently at one time, indeed the
BSO did a program dedicated to him on his 80th birthday, I read somewhere.

I want to thank everyone who responded to me on this, both on- and
off-list. It is not easy finding reference books here in Mallorca, even
the conservatory library is miserable, devoted mostly to Mallorcan and
Catalan composers. This is one of the many things that make this list
such an incredible resource, the presence of so many musicians, scholars,
aficionados, and knowlegable people all in one place is invaluable. Thanks
again, everyone.

Since we're discussing Foote here, may I take the opportunity to remind
everyone that you can hear movements of the Op. 5 trio at our page on
mp3.com. Also, a hint, the molto adagio third movement is also available
for free download on the site, but not on our main page. If you pretend
you are going to buy the CD, and go to the order page, you will see a list
of the movements on the disc, and there is a link for the slow movement on
that page. I only ask one favor, and that is that you listen to one of the
excerpts on the main page as well, to boost our ratings a bit on the chart.
We've dropped a few spots in the last few days, and it is a thrill, albeit
a small one, to see our name at number 1!
