As a layperson, it's great to hear a musician praising Mozart's E major
trio, one of my very favorite works.  Several of Mozart's chamber works
don't repeat the second part, and several do, so my guess is the repeat in
the trio was probably left off deliberately.  But chamber music was written
for the enjoyment of the musicians--so what the hell, play it anyway!!
