Ma seems to be widely recognized as one of the finest active cellists, but
it also seems that when MCMLers make recommendations for recordings of the
cello repertoire his name seldom comes up.  (One exception:  if I remember
correctly Jonathan Ellis favors Ma's most recent interpretation of the Bach
Cello Suites.) Maybe, therefore, Ma is good, but not quite as good as other
active cellists?

Anyway, which of Ma's recordings do list-members consider superb?
