As for the 7th, my only recording is of Berlin and Karajan in one of the
reissues.  Don't have it with me or I could be more specific, sorry.

EMI Red Line released a performance of the Berlin Phil and Maazel that
is, from this horn players standpoint, pretty good.  Of course, basing
this on sheer volume might not be the proper criteria!:-) Seriously,
the performance captures a nice Brucknerian sentiment, live, religious,
powerful.  On top of that, the CD is cheaper than many of its full-priced
counterparts.  My only complaint is a missed note during a trumpet entrance
in the final movement...

I too would love to hear of any other recordings of the eighth if anyone has
any suggestions.  Thanks.
