Why is it shocking to find one good Point Classics recording. While
the label is skimp on notes, doesn't usually provide accurate personnel
names, and recording quality varies from mud to maker (read the info at
http://www.hnh.com/); I find some of thier $2 recordings good.

The Bartok Concertos 2 and 3 got me into Bartok. It made Bartok sound
like Gershwin and I was into Gershwin. After that recording, I got hand
on vinyl Geza Anda recording (much more Hungarian).

You can find bargins here, but never the level of Naxos or Sony
Classical--it's really about risk factor and funds.
