My information was from an individual who is a world renown Liszt scholar
and knows Leslie Howard personally.  Leslie Howard, although a competent
pianist, simply does not have the capability to play some of the really
demanding Liszt pieces without resorting to extensive digital editing.
It's not that Leslie is a bad pianist, it's just that Liszt was a
superhuman pianist.
