I love McCreesh's Messiah too but I also love Gardiner's and Pinnock's (to
name a few).  I don't think McCreesh recorded so much Handel, or did he?
Gardiner did an awesome lot opf oratorios and operas.  But you have a point
here - if someone performs two major pieces at such a high level he should
be mentioned in this context.
