Tell me:  any of these contemporary concertos for orchestra & string
quartet available on CD (for us plebs who merely listen to and sometimes
love the stuff, but don't really & truly "know" it)?

To add to the list, Morton Gould also wrote a concerto for quartet and
orchestra, although in that case the quartet was of four violins.
