Hi-Do Shin asks, in relation to duplicate repertoire recordings by Naxos:

>Merely wondering if Naxos has changed its policy or not. Does anyone
know?

I believe they draw a distinction between the 'normal' and 'historical'
ranges of recordings in their admittedly large catalogue. 'Historical'
recordings do not necessarily count as filling gaps in the 'normal'
range of releases.
