How do you go with Haydn then; or the Schubert songs; or the Scarlatti
sonatas?  These would certainly take over your life for months.  Mozart
would also be a problem.  I guess in your case it might be better not
to start; just to concentrate on things like the Four Last songs of
Strauss.  You know there are only four of them; just a blissful hour
out of your life.
