World Premiere of Before the Fall by Brian Wilbur Grundstrom to be
Performed by Trinity Chamber Orchestra on October 15 in Washington
DC
Brian Wilbur Grundstrom's Before the Fall! will be given its World
Premiere by the Trinity Chamber Orchestra, Richard Fazio, Music Director
and Conductor, as part of the group's concert on Sunday October 15 -
3:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 4001 Yuma St. NW in Washington,
DC.

The composer has written this about the work, which was composed in 2001,
'Before the Fall! was almost completed before that defining moment of
September 11th, yet there is a dark side to the piece that seems to
forebode. Coincidentally, the title also portrays the sense of loss
felt as summer fades away and the anticipated dread of the cold and dark
as winter approaches. In some sense, the events that shape our world
are just as seasonal and uncontrollable as the weather.'

Other works on the program include Beethoven's Overture to Egmont,
Barber's Adagio for Strings, J.S. Bach's Concerto for Oboe and Violin
and Debussy's Petite Suite.

Suggested donation for this concert is $15 for advance tickets and $20
at the door. For more information, please contact the Trinity Chamber
Orchestra at 301-296-0936.
