For modern instrument performances, I prefer Bohm on DG, Mackerras on
Telarc, and Kubelik on Sony.  Gardiner on Philips is my preferred period
instrument recording.

If you only want one version, Mackerras might be the best as his is a
relatively scaled-down performance concerning orchestral forces and
adherence to HIP performance style.
