Handel would have been an obvious choice, but I think many folks
interpreted the question as referring to native-born English composers.
I haven't figured out if such a criterion automatically excludes someone
from Scotland, Wales, Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the parts of France
that Henry V or whomever claimed to reign over....
