On Garrison Keilor's *Prairie Home Companion* radio show this week, from
Tanglewood, he said that Koussevitzky had suggested that to further his
career, Leonard Bernstein should become Episcopalian and change his name
to Leonard Burns.

Does anyone know if this was true?

Koussevitzky clearly felt no need to change his foreign sounding name. And
what was his religion, if any?
