Dear music lovers,

You are invited to the following concert at Boston Conservatory.
The concert is free and open to the public.

World premiere of Objects and Intervals by Boston Conservatory Professor
Andy Vores.

From February 4-6 new music group Brave New Works will be in residence
performing and working with composers at Boston Conservatory's New Music
Festival.  On Wednesday February 4 the musicians of Brave New Works will
conduct a public reading session of works by student composers from 5PM
to 7PM in Boston Conservatory's Concert Room.

On Friday February 6 Brave New Works takes the stage of Seully Hall at
8PM for a provocative program including the World Premiere of Andy Vores'
Objects and Intervals composed for Brave New Works.  (Instrumentation:
Soprano, Flute/Picc/Alto, Clarinet/Bass, Piano, Harp, 2 Violins, Viola,
and Cello)

Also on the program:

Chris Gendall: Wax Lyrical (composed for BNW and commissioned by the
Mellon Foundation) Sungji Hong: Shades of Raindrops (2008 BNW "Call for
Scores" Winner) Forrest Pierce: The Black Sword of Sappho (composed for
BNW) Mason Bates: String Band (2008 BNW "Call for Scores" Winner) Brave
New Works has performed in Boston regularly for the past 7 years
collaborating with institutions such as Tufts University, Boston
Conservatory, ISCM, and with performers such as the Firebird Ensemble.
