You're probably thinking of Winter Words (Soprano/Tenor& piano 1953).  My
favorite recording is with Anthony Rolfe Johnson on Hyperion; the Peter
Pears with Britten on Decca is, of course, of particular historical
interest.  And Ian Partridge (ASV), Philip Langridge (Collins), & Philip
Langridge(Collins) are fine as well.
