I recently returned from seeing my mother who is suffering with cancer.
She uses CM to relax at night and to get to sleep. Loves Debussy etc.
but I found it interesting that she really loves Mozart and not just the
adagio type of movements. The clarity and straighforwardness appeal to
her. Quartets, piano, orchestral....loves it all. This seems to leave
her with a sense of well-being at the end of sometimes trying days. I
got her several new CD's of peaceful music but she prefers Mozart.

Particularly liked the Mozart string Quintets.
