I thank you for your valuable note from Per Skans, who is certainly a
legitimate source, about the correct spelling of Mieczyslaw Weinberg's
name.  I had just written a review of his and Nikolay Myaskovsky's violin
concerti at Amazon.com in which I commented at embarrassing length that
the correct spelling was 'Vainberg.' I have just now sent in a correction
that incorporates Skans's comments.
