Nor from me.  The 'tubby' sound you mentioned detracts from what is
otherwise a fine recording by Ashkenazy of the Schubert B-flat sonata.  His
Schumann recordings are among the worst sounding modern piano recordings I
own, only surpassed by that on the Brahms Handel variations/ Sonata disc.
