Frederick Fennell rerecorded both Holst Suites for Telarc in the late
1970s, for one of their first commercial releases on LP, DG-50038, later
released on CD-80038. It packs quite a punch.

The Reference Recordings CD is RR-39, with Howard Dunn conducting the
Dallas Wind Symphony. The booklet says they chose to use "the absolutely
pure instrumentation of the original scores. No 'optional' instruments
or doubling were felt to be necessary."
