Arte Nova lists two new CDs containing the four symphonies of Friedrich
Gernsheim (1839-1916), a name new to me. It's always dangerous to allege
a first recording but that may be the case here. Grove says he was heavily
influenced by Brahms.

I wondered if any of our eagle-eyed UK Listers had pounced and can give an
opinion.
