He has indeed!  He filled in at short notice to conduct a concert with
the West Australian Symphony that I attended last year.  The program was
Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet, Elgar's Cello Concerto and Schumann's 4th.
I'd never heard of him before, but he is a *hell* of a conductor.
