Browsing a list of new releases, I came across an Albany CD of
orchestral music by one Edward Collins.  I assumed him to be American as
the CD is conducted by Marin Alsop. There was no information in Grove,
DRAM lists Edward Collins and Edward Joseph Collins, who may be the same
person.  No source I checked mentioned his dates, but I'd guess late
C19-early C20.  Steve may well be writing his review of the CD, but in
the meantime, I'd appreciate any other information about this composer.
