Elodie Lauten in Concert at Faust Harrison Pianos on October 3 Performing
Her Piano and Chamber Works

Composer/Pianist Elodie Lauten will be in concert, performing and
presenting her piano and chamber music on Tuesday, October 3 - 8 PM
at Faust Harrison Pianos, 205 West 58th Street in Manhattan.

Ms. Lauten will perform selections from her new Piano Soundtracks CD,
including Variations on the Orange Cycle, a work that was included in
Chamber Music America's list of 100 best works of the 20th century.
Pianist Francois Nezwazky, violinist Tom Frenkel and cellist Kurt Behnke
will give the World Premiere of her new trio, The Elusive Virgin Bachelor.

This concert is free and open to the public however a donation of $15

Composer/keyboardist/producer Elodie Lauten (http://www.elodielauten.net)
has been described as a pioneer of post-minimalism, and a force on the
new music scene. More than two dozen recordings of her music have been
released on 10 labels. Lauten has received several major awards and
performances at many major venues in New York and Paris, including the
Lincoln Center Festival, the New York City Opera, the Whitney Museum,
The Kitchen, the World Music Institute, the SEM Ensemble and the Paris
Museum of Modern Art.  Lauten's Symphony 2001, was premiered in February
