Do not hesitate. I listen to this set all the time with the greatest of
pleasure and actually use the slow movement of the first symphony as a test
piece when auditioning equipment because it can be tricky. If it sounds
rough it is the equipment's fault I am afraid because it can sound amazing.

Another "test" disc for a similar reason is Roberta Alexander's disc of
Barber songs where she can sound quite unfocussed.

The price is right (from Crotchet anyway (equiv 4 Naxos) - seems pricy in
the US as noted on CW's review in the December reviews on Musicweb(UK)
