I agree with you Janos Gereben, Temirkanov is a fine conductor (I think
that he belongs on the 100 best conductors list--another thread on this
list) especially of the Russian romantics.  His Sheherezade is wonderful,
good enough, in fact, that I went out and bought it (after hearing it on
our local cm station, KBYU) in spite of the fact that I promised to die of
boredom if anyone ever played it again.
