I am completely agree with you, even if i don't like opera at all, Rossini
in that field is more than O.K.  In all this trend i was not to much
noticed about it, but Vivaldi was great as Haendel was it too.  A question
for Bach admirers(like me):  Why Bach took so much material from Vivaldi to
make a wonderful transcriptions?.  Best wishes:
