I like to think I can top these stories.  Years ago, I worked in a library
that had pop music piped into the reference and reading room.  As a new
employee, I had the audacity to be appalled and worse, to insist it be
turned off during my shift.  I got into a few arguments, but being big
and loud helped a lot, so I got my way.  No music when Hecht is on the
desk.

I wonder if they still have that system. I should call and ask.
