Pilz discs are all or mostly "borrowed" from other recording companies
without their permission... the performers, conductors, directors,
and orchestras on the 40 or so I have seen are all phony names... the
performances are good enough that you will occasionally hear a performance
you recognize. The music is good... The company was taken to court in New
York in 1997. As far as I know, they accepted an order to compensate the
orchestras and cease distribution... but I think the company is based in
a country that does not care what New York courts think.
