George Szell did indeed record the Brahms First Piano Concerto five times.
He recorded it with Artur Schnabel, Rufolf Serkin (twice), Clifford Curzon,
and Leon Fleisher.  I believe the recordings with Fleisher, Curzon, and
Serkin (second) are the three best available of this piece, with honorable
mention to Rubinstein/Reiner and Gilels/Jochum.
