Arthur Loesser is perhaps the most underrated pianist of the century.
As for the recording, I have my biases, for I heard him play this at a
series of concerts one summer in Cleveland.  Still, I believe that it
stands up to any, including Schiff and Richter.  The set is very hard
to find these days, so I would suggest you grab it.
