I just got word from the Leopold Stokowski Society that they will be
issuing the Phase 4 Scheherazade.  It will be out in September and taken
from the original analogue tapes. unlike the Ovation issue in 1988.  It
will be 24/96 remastering and should sound even better than the original
LP.  This is, quite frankly, the best Scher ever recorded.  The disc
will also include the live Marche Slave (never issued on CD) with the
LSO and 20 minutes of rehearsal for the Scher.  Stay tuned.
