If anyone is interested, Louis Kaufmann's papers were acquired in 2000
by the Library of Congress: http://www.loc.gov/today/pr/2000/00-115.html

In 2003, his wife, Annette Kaufmann (also pianist and art collector)
discussed at the Library of Congress the book they wrote together:
"A Fiddler's Tale: How Hollywood and Vivaldi Discovered Me",
http://www.loc.gov/today/pr/2003/03-124.html

The book (with CD of examples) is available at Amazon.
