It was released in stereo, though.  In fact it was one of the very first
of the PSO's stereo recordings, if not the first.  When the stereo LP
first came out, the Hindemith/Toch coupling had already been available on
open reel stereo tape for a couple of years.  Although the sound on the CD
transfer is obviously dated, I was surprised at how effective it really is.
