I find it reassuring that certain members of our group are morally
superior to James Levine, but I wonder whether the content of our
discussions should be dealing with such judgements, especially resorting
to nasty and disgusting name-calling.  We may all disagree about specific
live performances, particular recordings, or the merits of musical works.
This is the first time I have found such negativity about a performer
in our group.  I hope  I am not out of form in stating this.
