Last year I came across a recommendation on Amazon.com or CDNow reporting
that Berwald was one of the top 20 composers...  It also listed three
recordings that should be in everyone's collection.  Shocked, I hurriedly
gathered up every Berwald recording I could find...  ordered more...
played and replayed some highly recommended CD's...  and still couldn't
make his music reach my top 100...  guess I am getting old and set in my
ways...
