He will probably be a stone's throw away from me then.  Since he is going
to have easy access to Croydon, there is a second hand CD shop there called
'Beanos' supposedly the biggest in Europe but does not specialise in CM,
though it does have a fair bit.  In close proximity is Cloakes which is
run by 3 people who really know their stuff.  They can recommend CDs of
Albinoni to Zemlinsky.  Very well stocked too.  Also they have a second
hand section.  Just watch out for the trams!  (they have just finished the
network)

In London, I can recommend HMV on Oxford Street.  Forget which one (there
are a few) but if you go downstairs, there is a huge Classical department
which is near as dammit sonically isolated from the rest of the place.
Walls of Naxos I believe.  Even have 5 or 6 listening posts!  Don't know
what the staff are like.

Other than that, I am open to good suggestions.  I do my summer job in
London so will be up there anyway.  Any good Second Hand CD shops in
London?
