Choral Music of Judith Shatin and Judith Lang Zaimont to Be Performed
as Part of Cantori New York Judith Project Concert on November 3

New York, NY - On Saturday, November 3 at 8:00 PM, Cantori New York,
Mark Shapiro, Artistic Director, will present The Judith Project, a
unique program featuring choral music by four composers named Judith.
The concert will be given at Church of the Holy Trinity, 316 East 88th
Street in Manhattan.

Works to be presented are Judith Shatin's Songs of War and Peace, Judith
Lang Zaimont's Sunny Airs and Sober, Judith Weir's Ascending Into Heaven
and the U.S Premiere of Judith Bingham's The Secret Garden.

Cantori New York, now celebrating its 24th season, has been cited by

Shatin's music reflects her adventures as a timbral explorer.  Her

her music include the Denver, Houston, Illinois, Knoxville, Minnesota,

by many ensembles across the United States, including the Barlow
Foundation, Kronos Quartet, National Symphony, Hexagon Ensemble and
