Len Mullenger's "open letter" might result in a polite response, but I
doubt any change in policy. Gramophone does not provide the quantity of
reviews that ARG and Fanfare do. Taking that as a given, Gramophone has
to make choices between the relatively major label releases and the obscure
ones, Classico being very obscure.

Does Gramophone make the right choices? I think so. A policy of reviewing
Classico and not, say, Telarc, would result in decreasing sales. Actually,
I'd rather Gramophone continue as is, given that it's highly likely that
either ARG or Fanfare, or both, will review the Classico releases.
