Steve Schwartz on emotion expressed by music:

>After all, the emotion most people associate with Beethoven is, believe
>it or not, boredom.

Boredom is the last emotion I feel when listening to Beethoven. Lately,
I've been listening to Beethoven's Late quartets performed by the Tokyo.
I think, that Opus 130 and the Grosse Fugue, for example, convey a lot of
energy and emotion.
