If you are in the Washington, DC area on September 28, hope you can come --

The Wagner Society of Washington, DC
presents
Lou Santacroce
on
"Parsifal: A Christian's View"

Thursday, September 28, 2000 7:30 p.m.

The George Washington University,
Funger Hall, Room 103
2201 G Street, N.W.
Washington, D.C.

The well known host of National Public Radio "At the Opera" will ask
whether Nietzsche might have been right about Wagner's religion when he
characterized the choice of Parsifal, a story about the Holy Grail filled
with medieval nostalgia, as Wagner's sinking "helpless and broken, before
the Christian cross."
