Don Satz's enthusiastic review of this CD includes:

>The reviewer of this disc on the Classicstoday.com website states that
>"Ludwig Thuille's music is worthless". That's about the most ridiculous
>assertion I've heard from a reviewer in many a year.

Certainly very odd, isn't it? Along with several other list members,
I assume, I have been listening to Thuille today. In the symphony and
piano concerto, and certainly the sextet, I hear nothing to evoke such
a judgement. I'd also recommend the charming piano quintets, available
either from CPO or AS&V:

It's not worthless music as far as I'm concerned.
